I started JIMS Music Productions as a way to release my own music, on my own terms and be able to feed my family at the same time. In order to survive in the music business today you need to be able to create multiple revenue sources. Concerts, CD sales, sheet music sales, downloads, YouTube ad revenue, seminars, publishing, licensing are some of the primary sources of revenue for most successful musicians. I spent many years being involved in the music business, understanding all the various types of licensing, dealing with big and small publishers, working with many artists, agents, managers etc. After successfully releasing my first several CD's and score books under JIMS, I decided to use the knowledge and network I created to help other artists. I work with every artist as a business partner. I only want to work with an artist if I believe we can help them better achieve something together then they could on their own.
